Game 1: KC behind 12 hits, 4 walks 2 HRs stayed in the lead the whole game, though Manatee kept it close and finally tied it with 3 in the top of the ninth, only to see Thompson hit a 1st pitch out of the park to lead off the bottom of the 9th for the walk off .

Game 2: KC kept a comfortable lead the whole game until the top of the 9th when Suwanee rallied to have tying runs on base in the top of the 9th, but to fall short KC 6-4 and trail the series 2-0

Game 3: Both teams knotted at 2 until the bottom of the 8th when the home team Manatees plated a run on a single by defensive replacement Snyder, helped by a KC error, in which KC could not answer for in the 9th, Manatees 3-2 KC up 2-1

Game 4: Manatees again plate 2 in the home half of the 8th to put the Manatees ahead to stay….Manatees 4-2 Again, def replacement, Snyder, comes thru with the go-ahead SF…and another late win to tie the series 2-2

Game 5: Suwanee makes 5 Es and allows 8 unearned runs to lose a crucial last game at home. Manatee was up 5-2 until the top of the 7th when KC scored 7 of those 8 Unearned runs to break the game open KC 13-8 Manatee is finally able to hold Burgess hitless , as they strategize to walk him 2 of his 3 plate apps. Rosen goes 4-5 with 2b, HR and 4 RBIs KC up in the series 3-2, going home

Game 6: Manatees manage to tie the series at 3-3 backed by a 2-run HR by Rosen in the 5th to spark a 4-run inning. This provided a big enough lead for the good, if not spectacular Porterfield to hold on to, helped by 4 innings of shutout relief by the bullpen. Manatee stays away from Burgess with men on base, as he goes a bases empty 2-2 along with a walk. Manatees win it 7-3

Game 7: Behind 10 hits and 7 walks, Suwanee breaks the game open with 3 of their runs in the 7th to break a 2-2 tie. KC manages to make it closer with 1 in the 8th, but ultimately falls short, as both Rosen and Burgess go hitless. Manatees win 5-3 and finally take a post season series from KC, after 2 embarrassing losses in recent memory.
